Tour Brief: Arrival and Departure through Bagdogra Airport / NJP rail station. Transfer to Pelling, local half day SS of Pelling then transfer to Gangtok, local sight seeing including visit to Tsongo lake. Return back to NJP / Bagdogra
Travel Itinerary
DAY 1 Arrival to NJP & transfer to Pelling
After Arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Bagdogra Airport, meeting and greeting and then transfer to Pelling. Distance is around 140kms (5.30hrs approximately). Check in to Pelling.Evening free at leisure. Night stay at Pelling.
DAY 2 Pelling Sightseeing & transfer to Gangtok
After breakfast start for Pelling sightseeing. Visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Khecheopalri Lake (which is a huge attraction here and the lake is known as Wish Lake as they say that if you pray here, your wish is bound to be fulfilled), Kanchenjunga Falls, Rimbi Falls. In the afternoon transfer to Gangtok. (start at around 2 pm ). Pelling to Gangtok is around 120 kms ( around 4.30 hrs). Check in to the Hotel at Gangtok and night stay there.
DAY 3 Visit Tsomgo & Baba Mandir
After breakfast Visit Tsomgo Lake which is about 12300 FT and Baba Mandir ( around 13200 FT). This lake is considered one of the most sacred lakes in the state. This stunningly picturesque lake is around 52 km from Gangtok. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 4 Back to NJP
After breakfast proceed to NJP / Bagdogra.After breakfast transfer to NJP / Bagdogra.(Approximately 121kms/4hrs )
